Overview

Join us for the 2nd Edition of the Big Superhero Run - going Virtual for 2021.

This caped crusader themed fun run tours picturesque Mundy Park.
Starting on the West side of the park, the course winds its way along trails surrounded by nature.

With mild inclines, a mixture of trails and gravel pathways, everyone is assured a beautiful and accessible run, jog or walk. The route is suitable for all ages and abilities. (strollers ensure you have wheels suitable for unpaved trails)

How to get there

The site is easily accessible by local transit, as well as by bicycle and walking via local trails and bike lanes.

Transit: Closest stop is Bus 156 with a stop on Hillcrest St.
Bus 151, 152, 153 also drop off on other sides of the park.

If you are planning on driving please car share, both for the environment and to allow plenty of space for fellow participants, residents and park users.

Parking is available in the Mundy Park Hillcrest Parking Lot.

Do a training run/ or test walk with the app before go day!

You don't have to be a HERO just one day a year, think how you can help your community in other ways on other days!

Pricing

Early bird pricing begins at:

$17.50 for 1km Kids run/walk

$25 for 5km,
$26 for 10km

Discounts available for group bundles of 4+
$5 discount each (automatically applied)

Age discounts auto applied for Under 18's- max $20 entry

Packet Pickup

Race kits will be mailed out for all virtual events.

Mailout is included in the price for all Canadian Entries.

International (including USA) need to add shipping during registraion.

Volunteer

With it being a virtual run this year we don't need event day volunteers, however if you'd like to help in other ways or want to register interest in volunteering in 2022- drop us a message via the contact us link!
