Overview
Join us for the 9th annual Big Elf Run.
This holiday themed run offers a 5km/10km/15km Big Elf Run/Walk (2pm) as well as a 1km Wee Elf Run/Walk (1pm) around scenic Stanley Park.
Run with hundreds of elves, enjoy a DJ, “elfie station”, prize giveaways and more.
The Big Elf Run tours picturesque Stanley Park. Starting at Lumberman's Arch, the course winds its way along paths surrounded by old oak trees before looping onto the seawall with hallmark views of Coal Harbour and the Burrard Inlet.
With few inclines, and mainly paved paths, everyone is assured a beautiful and accessible run, jog or walk. The route is suitable for all ages and abilities. Leashed dogs and strollers welcome (both please start in final wave)

How to get there
The site is easily accessible by local transit, as well as by bicycle and walking via local trails and bike lanes.
Transit: Closest stop is Bus 19 (Stanley Park/Metrotown) with a stop in the park at the Bus Loop.
A number of Express Bus services stop at Georgia & Denman where you can switch to Bus 19 for the final short hop into the park.

If you are planning on driving please car share, both for the environment and to allow plenty of space for fellow participants and park users.
Parking is available in the park and you can pay using the Easy Park App with location "3696" check metres for current rates.

For the 5th year we are partnering with The Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau, hosting a Toy Drive at the event.
About LMCB
Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau has been making Christmas for kids since 1930. Christmas is about family and friends. It is about sharing and giving. Christmas should be a happy time for everyone, especially for children. The LMCB distributes toys, clothes and food vouchers to over 1000 low income families in Vancouver during the holiday season.
